The Tasmanian Tiger IFAK Pouch (S) is the compact version of their molle-compatible individual first aid kit (IFAK) pouches. It features a hook and loop closure pouch that contains a quickly and easily removable panel capable of holding trauma care essentials.
When we say essentials, we mean essentials. This is a compact pouch. The pouch measures 6" square and is 2" thick, it requires 4 rows of MOLLE for mounting. The removable panel features shock cord on both sides to hold items. I was able to fit an Israeli bandage, North American Rescue Hyfin vent chest seal, a mini Sharpie, and North American Rescue compressed gauze. There might be room for another small item, but those items pretty much max out the capacity of the pouch.
The pouch is manufactured with 700D Cordura Fabric and is available in black, coyote, and olive green. Either the red or color coded pull tab can be used depending on your personal preference. The simple para cord tether is also color coded with the pouch. The para cord is knotted through eye loops, so it can easily be removed, or changed to a longer length.
Further testing will be done going forward and we'll report back our findings.
